PM Modi Lauds Efforts Of Mutual Strength And Cooperation In I2U2 Summit

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the I2U2 virtually lauded the positive agenda of the group towards development through cooperation.

PM Modi said that the group has identified joint projects in various sectors and prepared a detailed roadmap for the future.

He further added that “Under the I2U2 framework, we’ve agreed on increasing the joint investment in 6 important areas of water, energy, transport, space, health & food security. It is clear that the vision & agenda of I2U2 are progressive & practical.”

He further stressed upon the importance of mobilizing mutual strength between the member countries to speed up the agenda and make more important contributions to the global economy. PM Modi also said that “our cooperative framework is also a good model for practical cooperation”.

The group has agreed to focus on six important areas in the future which includes water, space, health, energy, transport, and food security.

According to reports, The group of countries including US, UAE, Israel and India have agreed to launch a $2 billion food security initiative which is set to open agricultural parks in India with the cooperation of UAE.
