Bangkok-Delhi Vistara Flight Engine Failed Shortly After Landing

New Delhi: Bangkok-Delhi Vistara flight’s engine failed just after it landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday.

The incident took place on a UK-122 flight flying from Bangkok to Delhi. “After landing in Delhi, while taxiing to the parking bay, our flight UK122 (BKK-DEL) had a minor electrical malfunction on July 5,” a Vistara spokesperson said.

He further added that the crew decided to tow the flight keeping in mind the passenger’s safety. Further, the Air Traffic Control was notified and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) was informed about the matter.

Meanwhile, DGCA issued a show-cause notice to SpiceJet over recent incidents of emergency landings due to technical issues.
