The much-awaited ‘Kamala Khan’ has arrived on the streaming platform with the new Marvel Cinematic Character ‘Ms. Marvel’. The trailer for the mini web series was rolled out 3 months back on YouTube by Marvel Entertainment Channel which created hype for the Studios. Marvel is introducing back-to-back women superheroes in the MCU, and Ms. Marvel is just another women superhero after Captain Marvel, Lady Thor, and America Chavez who appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
We see Iman Vellani, a Pakistani-Canadian actress playing the role of Ms Marvel in the show. Iman was born in Karachi, Pakistan on 3 September 2002. Iman made her debut with this show by Marvel Studios. Iman is playing the role of 16 years old Pakistani American High school student who is an artist, gamer, and superhero. The Character of Kamala Khan is inspired and taken from the Marvel Comics and almost resembles the same as portrayed in the comics.
Other cast members include- Matt Lintz, Yasmeen fletcher, Rish shah, Mohan Kapoor, Zenobia Shroff, Laurel Marsden, Nimra Bucha, Arian Moayed, Azhar Usman, Alysia Reiner, Travina Springer, Laith Nakli, Saagar Shaikh, Samina Ahmad and Iyad Hajjaj.
Among the cast of the show, we can see Mohan Kapoor and Zenobia Shroff making their debut from Bollywood to Marvel as Kamala Khan’s parents. Mohan Kapoor is seen playing the role of Kamala’s father Yusuf Khan. Whereas, on the other hand, we can witness Zenobia Shroff playing the role of Kamala’s mother Muneeba Khan.
Marvel’s legacy of releasing an episode weekly every Wednesday till the show comes to an end continues with Ms Marvel too and till now 3 episodes have been rolled out on the Disney+ Hotstar streaming platform with another 3 awaiting episodes to be released on upcoming Wednesdays.
