IMD Issues Warning Of Heavy Rainfall Over West Coast Region

New Delhi: With the arrival of the Monsoon in India, several states have started preparing to face the season. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) warned of intense rainfall over the next five days along the west coast.

The southwest monsoon has further advanced over Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, parts of West Bengal, and southeast areas of Uttar Pradesh on Monday.

The IMD predicted rainfall for the next two days in parts of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, and Chandigarh which will slowly reduce later.

IMD data further added conditions of heavy rainfall over Konkan, Goa, parts of Gujarat, and Karnataka over the next five days.

The data further predicted that no significant change in the maximum temperature will be observed across the country over the next five days.
