New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted spells of rainfall over North India including Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and West Uttar Pradesh in the upcoming days.
According to IMD, favourable conditions have developed for the advancement of southwest monsoon into some parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
It further predicts heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh on 15th and 16th June followed by rainfall in Assam and Meghalaya.
Rainfall activity is likely to increase over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and West Bengal in the upcoming days.
IMD further predicted heavy rainfall over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 16th and 17th June.
