Ahmedabad: The Finals of the ongoing Indian Premier League is all set to unfold in its full glory with Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals clashing for the title at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.

Gujarat Titans made a comfortable entry into the Finals after winning the first qualifier against Rajasthan Royals earlier this week. Skipper Hardik Pandya and his side will be pumped up to play in the home ground and make history by winning the title in their first season.

David Miller wrapped the game with three back-to-back sixes in the final over of the match taking his team to the finals. Gujarat Titans have been known for a team-backed performance rather than depending on one individual player throughout the season. With players like Rahul Tewatia, Shubman Gill, and Matthew Wade the team will be looking to execute the plans and give 100 percent in the ultimate contest.

Rajasthan Royals will play the game after getting a dominating win in the last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Skipper Sanju Samson and his side will be racing to repeat history and claim the title for the second time in the history of the competition. Jos Butler’s power-packed century took the RCB bowling attack by storm and he walked all over them into the finals.

Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Trent Boult will be key aspects of the bowling attack of the Rajasthan Royals. The team will be looking to give a tribute to Shane Warne (the first winning captain of RR in IPL) by winning the trophy for him.

The match will have guests and VVIPs from around the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will attend the match. IPL is incomplete with a mix of Bollywood. This season will include Bollywood Superstar Ranveer Singh and Legendary Music Composer and Singer A.R.Rahman performing in the closing ceremony of the Indian Premier League 2022.
