BIZARRE: Man Finds Dead Lizard In McDonald’s Beverage; Authorities Seal Outlet

Date:

Ahmedabad: In a bizarre incident, a man found a lizard in his soft drink at McDonald’s in Ahmedabad.

Bhargav Joshi, the man, had gone to an outlet of the popular food joint in the city with his friend to have a meal. While he and his friends were drinking Coke at McDonald’s, they spotted a lizard in one of their drinks.

Joshi shared the video showing the lizard in the glass of soft drink inside the outlet.

While speaking to newswire ANI, Joshi said that “the area manager laughed over the complaint and told him that he”ll check CCTV Cameras. When Joshi pressed them to take action, they offered to return the bill amount.”

Joshi also accused the store manager of threatening them and calling the cops. “..And threatened us to call the police if we didn’t leave the outlet. We then lodged a complaint with the food and drugs department who inspected and sealed the outlet,” Joshi added.

Reportedly, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation ordered the sealing of the outlet. Joshi later tweeted a picture showing the restaurant was sealed and wrote ‘great work done’ by city municipal officials.
