COVID Update: India Logs 1,829 New Cases, 33 Deaths In 24 Hours

New Delhi: India reported 1,829 new COVID-related cases in the last 24 hours after witnessing a dip a day earlier. The active caseload stands at 15,647 cases.

Delhi reported 393 new COVID cases with two more deaths in the last 24 hours.

The total number of fatalities stands at 33 which includes 29 deaths reported by Kerala due to late filing of previous records.

West Bengal registered 48 new Covid-related cases in the last 24 hours.

According to a Maharashtra health official report, Thane district recorded 30 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours.

According to Reuters, North Korea has reported 2,32,880 new cases of fever symptoms in the last 24 hours.

Singapore recorded 2,664 new COVID-related cases in the last 24 hours.

Japan’s government will be lifting the restriction on international travel in small package tours from the United States, Australia, Singapore, and Thailand as an experiment. The announcement comes for the first time since the outbreak of the COVID pandemic.

Amid the fall in the number of COVID-related cases in Indonesia, the authorities are planning to drop the rule of mandatory wearing of masks outdoors.
