IPL 2022: Chennai Super Kings To Lock Horns With Mumbai Indians

Mumbai: As the season of the Indian Premier League gets closer to the end of the league stage games, Chennai Super Kings will clash with Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday.

This season of IPL has been different for both Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. The teams are trailing at the bottom of the points table due to consecutive losses at the start of the season.

Chennai Super Kings will be back after a win against Delhi Capitals. Skipper MS Dhoni will be looking to continue the winning streak and end the season with positive momentum in the upcoming games left for the side.

Devon Conway played a sublime inning of 87 runs in just 49 deliveries in the last game. Rituraj Gaikwad also contributed 41 runs in the total.

Mukesh Choudhary will be a major finding for the Chennai Super Kings side. He has bagged 13 wickets this season and has been consistent with his form throughout the season. Moeen Ali also bagged three wickets in the last game against DC.

Mumbai Indians suffered a crushing defeat by 52 runs in the last game against Kolkata Knight Riders. Rohit Sharma and his side have managed to win two games in the entire season of IPL.

Ishan Kishan led the innings in the last game and scored 51 runs. Skipper Rohit Sharma continues to struggle with his form.

Jasprit Bumrah picked up five wickets in the last game and concluded his crucial spell of 5/10 in four overs. Kumar Kartikeya bowled a crucial spell and bagged two wickets in the last game against KKR.
