An image of a couple with five children sitting on a motorcycle is being widely shared on social media. The image is being shared with text embedded on it that reads, “Please pay your taxes on time to ensure this family gets all government benefits in time..”
The image is being shared with a caption insinuating that the viral image is from India. The caption reads, “அனைத்து ஹிந்து சொந்தங்களும் காலதாமதம் செய்யாமல் வரி செலுத்துங்கள், கள்ள குடியேரிகளுக்கு ஏராளமான சலுகைகள் மற்றும் உதவிகள் செய்ய அரசாங்கத்துக்கு பணம் தேவைப்படுகிறது..” (English translation as done by Google: All Hindu relatives pay tax without delay, govt needs money to make lots of offers and aids to illegal immigrants.)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be misleading.
On doing a Google Reverse Image Search we found the same image was published by a Facebook page, Electric Bikers Association of Bangladesh on December 6, 2017.
The image had a billboard in the background that read, “হানিফ এন্টারপ্রাইজ ভাটিয়াপাড়া”. On searching with the word, “হানিফ এন্টারপ্রাইজ ভাটিয়াপাড়া”, we found that Hanif Enterprise is a bus service company in Bangladesh. The About Us section of the website reads, “HANIF ENTERPRISE is a reputed name in the industry since 1984. Hanif Enterprise is the king of the transport world. HANIF Enterprise believes in providing highest quality service and this strategy has introduced us as an esteemed organization. Keeping up with this standard, we have enhanced our service with “shohoz.com”, an online space for purchasing ticket as well as a comprehensive ticketing management system. All initiatives are aimed towards providing faster and smoother service to our passengers. Hanif team is working tirelessly to come up with new innovations for providing better quality customer service. The accomplished operator currently provides its services in all Bangladesh . For any queries, please reach out to 01755-538881.”
We also found that the same image was also published on a website, Daily Asianage on April 30, 2018. The image was shared with a caption that read, “Fb user Shamim Parvez Himel posted a photo featuring a man riding a motorbike with all of his family members of seven persons. The post has received 7.5k reactions. “Powerful man.” Gram Bangla, Fb.”
The title associated with the article reads, “What Dhaka is talking about (30.04.2018)”
Hence we can ascertain that the viral image is from Bangladesh and not from India.
