New Delhi: India logged 2,483 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours. The active caseload observed a dip from the last day and stands at 15,636 cases.

The total number of deaths reported in the last 24 hours stands at 1,399.

According to reports, Out of the total deaths of the last 24 hours includes 1,347 deaths reported by the Assam government for the patients who died due to other reasons during COVID.

Delhi logged 1,011 new COVID-related cases in the last 24 hours.

The Karnataka government-mandated wearing of masks and maintaining social distance in the state after a surge in COVID cases was observed in the past few days.

The Chhattisgarh Government also mandated the wearing of masks and issued fresh guidelines after a surge in COVID cases.
