New Delhi: Amid the recent spike in the number of COVID cases, Delhi on Saturday observed 1,094 COVID-related cases in the last 24 hours.
With the fresh addition to the COVID cases tally, the active caseload in the last 24 hours stands at 3,704 cases. The total number of recoveries stands at 640 cases and two deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.
India logged 2,527 new COVID-related cases in the past 24 hours with 33 fatalities reported.
Earlier this week, the Department of Delhi Disaster Management imposed a fine of Rs 500 on not wearing masks in public. The decision came amid the surge in the number of cases in the national capital.
