Jaipur: Congress leader and Chief Minister of Rajasthan Ashok Gehlot on Saturday said that his resignation is ‘permanently present’ with Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi. The comments were made amid the speculation of a leadership change in the Rajasthan Congress.

The talks of a change in leadership came after former deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot met with Congress President Sonia Gandhi and as per reports, he is in touch with the Congress high command.
Congress convened a three-day meeting at the residence oF Sonia Gandhi to discuss the party’s preparations for the upcoming state elections and 2024 Lok Sabha elections, including organizational reforms in the party.
