Jharkhand: The Jharkhand High Court has taken up a suo motu cognizance into the matter and ordered a detailed inquiry after two people died during the rescue operation.
A woman died after her rope broke during the rescue operation from the cable car. Earlier today dramatic visuals show another man who fell during the rescue operation after his rope broke during the process of rescue.
The Jharkhand High Court will hear the matter on April 26. It also ordered the state government to file a detailed inquiry report in the form of an affidavit before the hearing.
The official Twitter handle of Indo-Tibetan Border Police confirmed that the rescue operation has concluded. A total of 46 people were rescued in the operation. The 40th battalion of ITBP, Ranchi was part of the rescue operations team.
