A collage of images is being widely shared on social media claiming that an illegal encroachment was recently removed by the Uttar Pradesh Government from Govardhan Parikrama Marg.
The post is being shared on Facebook with a Hindi caption, “गोवर्धन परिक्रिमा मार्ग में अवैध रूप से अतिक्रमण कर बनी मजारो पर J C B चला कर साफ किया जा रहा है, यह काम करने की क्षमता केवल योगी बाबा में ही है!!”

NewsMobile fact-checked the above claim and found it to be MISLEADING.
A simple Reverse Image Search directed us to several social media posts that carried the same viral images in 2020 as well. This clearly means that the images are old.
Searching further, we found that the images have been on the internet at least since 2018 with the same claim. Check here, here, here.
We also performed a keyword search but could not find any recent media reports about any such incident regarding the removal of illegal encroachment from Govardhan Parikrama Marg.
Although we could not independently verify location of the viral images, it is evident from the above information that the viral images are old. Therefore, the viral claim is misleading.
