A video is being widely shared on social media in which a crowd can be seen standing in front of a mosque, waving saffron flags leading to tension. It is being claimed that this incident is from Karauli in Rajasthan.
According to reports, “Curfew was imposed in Karauli city of Rajasthan after communal tension broke out following stone-pelting at a motorcycle rally passing through a Muslim-dominated area on Nav Samvatsar, the first day of the new year under the Hindu calendar on April 2.”
The video is being shared on Facebook with a Hindi caption, “#करोली राजस्थान जिस मस्जिद से फेंके गये पत्थर उसी मस्जिद पर चढ़कर बंजरग दल ने लहराया भगवा”
(English translation: #Karoli Rajasthan. The same mosque from which the stones were thrown. Bajarang Dal hoisted saffron after climbing on it)
