A screenshot of a tweet purportedly by Pallavi Joshi, producer of The Kashmir Files, is viral on social media. The post claims that Pallavi Joshi has announced to make ‘The Ajmer Files’ post the success of ‘The Kashmir Files’.
The Tweet reads, “एक फिल्म THE AJMER FILES भी बनेगी। जहा सिलसिलेवार हिन्दू लडकियों का बलात्कार और हत्या की गई। नग्न तस्वीरें शहर में लगाई गई। सच सामने लाकर रहेंगे। कोन कोन साथ देगा??.” (English translation, “A film THE AJMER FILES will also be made. The film will be about the serial rape and murder of Hindu girls. Nude photos were posted in the city. Will bring the truth to the forefront. Who will support??”)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be fake.
We could not find any media report to suggest that Pallavi Joshi has made any such announcement.
Further, we found that the Tweet was done from the Twitter handle, @IPallaviJoshi. We checked for the Twitter id of @iPallaviJoshi and found it to be, “1440703746065928205”. Twitter id is a unique number provided to all Twitter handles.
We further searched for the Twitter id, “1440703746065928205” and found that it was earlier used as the Twitter handle, “@iSinghSonali”.
We further found that Pallavi Joshi’s husband Vivek Agnihotri also took to Twitter to announce that Pallavi doesn’t have a Twitter handle. He tweeted, “Just for records, Pallavi Joshi is not on Twitter. If you come across any impersonation, please report. Thanks.”
Hence, we can ascertain that the tweet was done by an imposter account and not by Pallavi Joshi.
