Amid the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine, a video is being widely shared on social media in which while a journalist can be seen reporting with what appears to be bodies in the background, a person who was lying still on the floor can be seen moving.
The video is being shared with a claim that the western media is showing fake dead bodies of Ukrainian citizens.
A social media user share the video with a caption that reads, “Ukraine live TV supposedly filming a site with dead bodies of civilians killed during Russian bombing strikes, but something went wrong…(Shared on a lighter note. This could be possibly a propaganda video by either side.)”

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be fake.
On searching with the keyword, “Wien: Demo Gegen Klimapolitik” we found the same video was uploaded by OE24 on February 4, 2022. Since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, hence, the viral video is old.
We also found people holding banners that read, “Klimaschutzgesetz rettet leben”, “Aktuell Klimapolitik night” (English translation, “Climate protection law saves lives”, “current climate policy night”)
A video interview of a climate activist from the same protest was also uploaded by OE24.
We also found that Marvin Bergauer had also published a post debunking the viral claim. He posted that the video was of ‘Fridays for Future’ protest in Vienna. He mentioned that people in Vienna were protesting as around 49 people in Austria die every day due to the climate crisis.
Hence, the viral video shows people protesting against climate crisis and has no correlation with the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
