FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found it to be misleading.

We ran a keyword search and found the original video which was streamed live on the official YouTube channel of the Bharatiya Janata Party on February 12, 2022. “HM Shri Amit Shah addresses public meeting in Raipur, Uttarakhand,” the title of the video read.

After examining it carefully, we found that the viral clip has been taken from 11:25 min of the original video.

In the original video, it is clear that the crowd was chanting ‘Murdabad’ and not ‘Zindabad’.

In the video, Shah says, “Rawat Ji has a habit of losing. Even Congress knows this and it’s not a new practice for them. But friends, this Congress party (crowd says ‘Murdabad’)… this Congress party will never develop the Devbhoomi.”
