Pak Analysts Slam Imran, Say Indian Envoy In The US Doing Far Better

Date:

Pakistani analysts have termed India’s American policy far better than the one being pursued by Islamabad.

Participating in a TV discussion, Sajid Tarar, US-based analyst, said there was no comparison between Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Indian counterpart Dr S Jaishankar. “Thinking of Qureshi does not go beyond Multan whereas Dr Jaishankar has reached out to so many leaders during his numerous foreign visits,” he said.

Lauding the initiatives and efforts of the Indian Ambassador in the U.S. Taranjit Singh Sandhu, the noted analyst said that Indian Envoy had reached out to all leading think tanks in America as well as Indian-Americans working not only in the State Department but in a variety of other areas.

He said that it was due to these intense efforts that the U.S. had bestowed a regional leadership role to India in the Indo-Pacific region.

He said that whenever Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the U.S., the Indian Envoy was able to line up an impressive array of top CEOs for business meetings. In comparison, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan would only hold his `durbar’ at Pak Embassy in America and be satisfied with “photo-ops” only.
