In the above context, an image of Bahujan Samaj Party supremo, Mayawati along with the National President of The Rashtriya Lok Dal Party, Jayant Singh Chaudhary, has gone viral. The image is being shared with a claim that Chaudhary went to meet Mayawati amid the UP Polls.
The image is being shared with a caption that reads, “बहुजन समाज पार्टी की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष माननीया बहन मायावती जी से लखनऊ आवास पर मिलने पहुचें राष्ट्रीय लोक दल के नेता मा. जयन्त चौधरी जी…बी.एस.पी की पूर्ण बहुमत की सरकार बनायें.” (English translation, “Leader of Rashtiya Lok Dal, Jayant Chaudhary, went to meet National President of Bahujan Samaj Party Mayawati at her residence in Lucknow. BSP will form full majority government.”)

NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be misleading.
On doing a Google Reverse Image Search, we found the same image was uploaded by a Twitter handle claiming that the viral image is old and is of 2019. The image was shared with a caption that read, “बहुजन समाज पार्टी – उत्तर प्रदेश के ट्विटर हैंडल से कल रात बहन @Mayawati जी और @jayantrld जी की मीटिंग का फ़ोटो अपलोड किया गया है। ये फ़ोटो अभी का होने का दावा किया जा रहा है जबकि ये फ़ोटो 16 मार्च 2019 का है।” (English translation, ” The photo of the meeting of sister @Mayawati ji and @jayantrld ji last night has been uploaded from the Twitter handle of Bahujan Samaj Party – Uttar Pradesh. This photo is being claimed to be from now while this photo is of 16 March 2019.”)
We also found the same image was uploaded by Hindustan on March 16, 2019. The title associated with the image read that Chaudhary met Mayawati at her residence in Lucknow for the first time on March 16, 2019, ahead of Lok Sabha elections 2019, after coalition.
Another website India Content had also uploaded the image with a caption that reads, “Lucknow Rashtriya Lok Dal RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary meets BSP supremo Mayawati at her residence in Lucknow on March 16 2019. Photo IANS.”
Hence, an old image of 2019, is widely being shared with a claim that Chaudhary met Mayawati ahead of UP Polls.
