Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Uttar Pradesh from February 10 to March 7, 2022.
In this backdrop, a photograph of Akhilesh Yadav has gone viral on social media in which he can be seen holding a pamphlet with text that reads, “जो राम को लाए हैं, हम उनको लाएंगे। यूपी फिर मांगे भाजपा सरकार.”
(English translation: The one who brought Ram, we will bring them. UP is asking for BJP government again.)

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be fake.
On doing a Google Reverse Image Search we found a similar image was uploaded by ProKerala on January 22, 2022. In the original image, Akhilesh Yadav is holding a pamphlet with text on it that reads, “नौकरी-रोजगार संकल्प श्रृंखला …प्रथम संकल्प:IT सेक्टर”
(English: ‘Naukri-Rozgar Sankalp’ series…First Resolution: IT Sector)
The title of the article associated with the image reads, “Lucknow: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav addresses a press conference at the party office.”
We compared both the images and it became evident that the original pamphlet was edited and the morphed image went viral.
We also found the original image was uploaded by Samajwadi Party on Twitter with a caption that read, “समाजवादी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष एवं पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री श्री अखिलेश यादव ने घोषणा की है कि 2022 के विधानसभा चुनाव में समाजवादी पार्टी की सरकार बनने पर ‘नौकरी-रोजगार संकल्प श्रृंखला‘ में आईटी सेक्टर में 22 लाख नौजवानों को नौकरी दी जाएगी। ”
(English Translation: National President of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has announced that 22 lakh youth will be given jobs in the IT sector in the ‘Naukri-Rozgar Sankalp’ series if the Samajwadi Party government is formed in the 2022 assembly elections.)
Hence, we can evidently conclude that the viral image is morphed.
