A boy of Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, stuffed his girlfriend in a suitcase and tried to sneak her into the hostel room. However, the security guard caught the boy and asked him to open the suitcase, and his girlfriend popped out.
The boy resided in Block 5 and the girl who studies at a commerce institute in the Manipal campus resides in a hostel in Block 13. He was missing his girlfriend and wanted to spend some time with her. However, due to COVID-19 restrictions, no outsiders were allowed in the hostel. So the boy devised a plan and tried to sneak his girlfriend inside the hostel by packing her up in a suitcase.
However, when the security staff questioned the boy and asked him to open the suitcase as it looked suspicious, he was reluctant. When he opened it finally, his girlfriend popped out. Fortunately, the girl was conscious and did not require any medical aid.
The internal disciplinary committee of the institute has taken action against them for engaging in such an act.
