We extracted keyframes of the video and put them through Reverse Image Search along with several keywords. This led us to a clip uploaded on PM Modi’s Twitter handle in 2016 where he can be seen in the same attire and the background is also the same.
Taking a hint, we ran a search and found the full video of the speech on the YouTube channel of Bharatiya Janata Party dated November 13, 2016.
“PM’s speech at launch of various projects in Goa: 13.11.2016,” the video was titled.
The viral clip can be seen at 59 minutes 17 seconds of the original video.
Hence, from the above information, it is clear that the viral video is from 2016 and has no relation with the upcoming assembly elections in Goa.
