One usually thinks of the heat and humidity when one thinks of Mumbai weather. But this January all that is different.
Mumbai is chilly due to an unusual drop in temperature. All due to a western disturbance and an induced cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan. That’s led to strong winds and cloudy skies.
That’s surprised many Mumbaikars and triggered a meme fest.
Skymet Weather predicts more chilly weather in Mumbai over the next few days.
Mahesh Palawat, the Vice President of Skymet Weather took to Twitter and said, ‘Winter chill grips #Mumbai. #Minimum drops to 13.4 degree. Maximum was 24.8 degree. 6 degree below normal. No significant relief for next two days.”
