A screengrab of a purported news article carrying a photograph of an elderly man is being widely shared on social media platforms with a claim that he was a milkman who has fathered over 800 children.
“DNA testing reveals milkman fathered over 800 children between 1951 and 1964” reads the headline of the purported news report.
A Facebook user shared a screengrab with a caption, “Milkman turned out to be the father of 800 children. DNA Test.”
The image of the elderly man is also doing rounds on Twitter with the same claim.

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral image and found that the article is a satire.
With the help of Reverse Image Search, we found the article published on a satirical website named dailynewsreported.com on December 24, 2021.
We checked the ‘About Us’ section of the website according to which the website is a fabricated satirical newspaper and comedy website.
“Daily News Reported is a fabricated satirical newspaper and comedy website. Daily News Reported uses invented names in all its stories, except in cases when public figures are being satirized. Any other use of real names is accidental and coincidental. Daily News Reported is not intended for people under 18 years of age,” reads the About Us section.
On checking further, we found the same image of the elderly man on sunshine-city.top site. “Old man in hat” reads the description of the image.
Therefore, it can be concluded that a screengrab of a satirical article is being falsely shared as real.
