A video of a young couple is being widely circulated on social media platforms claiming that they were caught in a hotel room. In the video, one can see the couple sitting in a room. A man in a white shirt enters a room and gets into an argument with the boy. The video further shows the girl’s school teacher entering the room, scolding and slapping her.
It is being claimed that the girl in the video, used to leave her house to go to school but end up coming over to the hotel with her lover.
A Facebook user shared the video with a caption in Hindi that roughly translates to, “This girl used to go to the hotel with a boy, instead of going to the school. One day her teacher came to know about it.”

The video is also doing rounds on Twitter with the same claim.

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral video and found it to be scripted.
We carefully watched it and at 4 minutes 49 seconds in the video, the actor who played the role of school teacher tells in the camera that the video is scripted.
“This video was made only for the purpose of spreading awareness among the parents of the children. Many times the parents of children get busy in their work after sending them to school, so it is important that they keep a check on their children,” it is said in Hindi.
We also found this video uploaded on the page of ‘Deepika Shah‘, who posts similar scripted videos on her page. Shah posted the 5:14 minute video on her Facebook page on 20 December and the video has now over 5.6 million views.
