FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found the claim to be false.

A simple Reverse Image Search led us to a 2019 article by Amar Ujala where a similar picture was featured.

The article mentioned that the image is from a school in Almora, Uttarakhand.

We then ran a keyword search along with another Reverse Image Search and found the same viral image in an article by Dainik Jagran dated March 10, 2018.

The article mentioned that the image shows the condition of a Government Primary School of Khatoli village in Almora, Uttarkhand. The report also mentioned that the classroom often fills with water during the rainy season, and these conditions are affecting the education of the children in the school.

Hence, from the above information, it is clear that the image is old and is from Uttarakhand and is not related to Gujarat.
