If you are powerful, you can get away with anything, says NewsMobile founder and Editor-in-Chief Saurabh Shukla.
His remarks come after Thane Magistrate Court issued a non-bailable warrant against former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh who is on the run amid multiple extortion cases filed against him.
Speaking at Arnab’s show at Republic TV, he said, “If a non-bailable warrant is applied, isn’t it contempt to not find him? The same laws should apply for every citizen.”
Listen in what he has to say:
“There should be a PIL filed in the Supreme Court. India has the wherewithal to get anyone,” he added.
A Thane court on Thursday directed the Thane Police to arrest Param Bir Singh and produce him before it.
