Mumbai’s Special NDPS Court Wednesday rejected Aryan Khan’s bail plea along with those of Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha. Aryan Khan and seven others were arrested in the Mumbai cruise drugs case on October 3.
He has been in Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail since October 8 and will remain there for now. After the development, Aryan Khan has moved an application in the Bombay High Court against the Special NDPS Court order on his bail rejection.
The anti-drugs agency has claimed in court that Aryan Khan is a regular consumer of drugs, adding that “this is the land of Mahatma Gandhi… this (drug) abuse is affecting young boys”.
A total of 20 people, including two Nigerian nationals, have been arrested so far in the case related to the seizure of drugs following a raid at a party on the Cordelia cruise ship off the Mumbai coast on October 2.
