Facebook users shared the post with the caption, “नवरात्रि मे जुता पहन कर कन्या को भोजन कराते अखिलेश यादव!!”

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found it to be false.
A simple Reverse Image Search on the picture led us to an article from 2016 featuring the same viral image. “Hausala Poshan Scheme,” the title read.
The same image was also present in an article by One India and Patrika from July 2016. Both the articles mentioned that the image is related to the ‘Hausala Nutrition Scheme’ (Hausala Poshan Scheme).
We then ran a keyword search and found that the same image was also shared by Akhilesh Yadav on his verified Facebook page in July 2016. The post was captioned, “Launched the Hausala Nutrition Scheme, which will provide hot nutritious meals to pregnant women and malnourished children.”
This proves that the viral image in circulation is from 2016 and is NOT related to the Navratri festival.
