‘Thalaivii’ Critic Review: Kangana Ranaut Brings An Iconic Character Alive In The Most Authentic Way

Kangana Ranaut’s most awaited theatrical release, ‘Thalaivii’ will hit the screens on September 10. The portrayal of iconic J. Jaylalitha’s lifespan, Kangna’s role and painstaking dialogues, all are receiving positive praises from the critics.

The film depicts Jayalalitha’s life, her relationship with the legendary M. G. Ramachandran, her turbulent rise to power as Tamil Nadu’s former Chief Minister with loads of drama, emotions and masterful performance.

According to Taran Adarsh, a film critic who has seen the film, Thalaivii is one brilliant work of Kangana. Taran on Twitter summed up Thalaivii in one word “powerful” with four stars he added “One of the most powerful biopics to release on the #Hindi screen… Loads of drama + strong emotions + bravura performances [#KanganaRanaut and #ArvindSwami pitch in award-worthy acts] are major aces.”

Film expert Dr. Dhananjayan praised the film saying Thalaivii is the finest biopics made in India.

Bollywood tracker Ramesh Bala said “She brings an iconic character alive in the most authentic way” for Kangana.

Movie geek Sridevi Sreedhar also gave Thalaivii a four-star and Film correspondent Rajasekar praised the film.
