Taapsee Pannu is an actor who has proved herself through her stellar performances in various movies. She started her career in a Telugu movie, Jhummandi Nadam in 2010 and in 2013 she made her debut in David Dhawan’s comedy Chashme Badoor. Her performance got recognition in Bollywood when she performed in Pink.

3. Manmarziyan: A movie that speaks about the love triangle between Rumi, Vicky and Robbie. While the love triangle is an old concept of Bollywood and many movies have been on this topic but what makes the movie stand out of the league is Tapsee Pannu’s character as Rumi. She played the role of a Punjabi girl who embraces herself wholeheartedly. She doesn’t shy away from telling her family about the person she loves. She shows the emotional turmoil she has to go through after marriage as she is still stuck in her past and she doesn’t hide it. She also doesn’t shy away from infidelity until she genuinely feels the warmth of her husband’s love, after which there was no going back.

4. Badla: She bagged IIFA awards for the best female actor for her role in Badla, a mystery thriller film released in 2019. Tapsee in the movie played the role of a young and intelligent businesswoman who has a perfect life until the death of Arjun, her extramarital love affair.

5. Thappad: Based on the issue of domestic violence, the movie is about a wife who gave her hundred percent for household chores until she realises her worth is nill in front her in-laws and her husband for whom she worked selflessly. The movie shows her character transformation from a girl who loved her family life to someone who divorces her husband after being slapped.
