Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor’s Upcoming Spy-Thriller ‘Bell Bottom’ Gets A Release Date For Theatres!

Akshay Kumar and Vani Kapoor’s much-awaited spy-thriller–‘Bell Bottom’ is all set for a theatrical release!

Directed by Ranjit Tiwari, the movie is ready to hit the big screens next month on July 27.

The actor took to Twitter to unveil the new releasing date with an exciting teaser for his film, he wrote, “I know you have patiently waited for #Bellbottom! Couldn’t be happier to finally announce the release of our film. Arriving across big screens worldwide #BellBottomOn27July”

The story is based on true events that took place around the 1980s and the actor will be seen playing the role of a RAW Agent with Vaani Kapoor playing the lead lady opposite Akshay Kumar. The film is written by Aseem Arora and Parveez Sheikh, with production by Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment, also featuring Huma Quershi and Lara Dutta playing pivotal roles.

The film was officially announced in November 2019, with the initial release date of 2 April 2020. Bell Bottom became the first Bollywood movie to start and finish its shoot amid the pandemic.

It was shot in the highlands of Glasgow, Scotland in August 2020. The film was wrapped up in October 2020 but couldn’t hit the screen due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Recently, the news was flashed that the actor reduced his fees to 30 crores for Bell Bottom, but Akshay Kumar slammed the news calling it a fake one, he tweeted, “What waking up to FAKE Scoops feels like!” with the article with fake information.
