Doing away with her use of Chanderi, she will be focussing on a mix of materials. “Since it (the collection) is for Autumn/Winter, I will use a weave from West Bengal or merino wool, but keep it a mix.” While this is Shadangule’s debut as part of the prestigious haute couture calendar, she has previously showcased at multiple editions of New York Fashion Week.
Last year, it was designer Rahul Mishra, who was invited to be the guest member at the official Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture and present his collection.
