We ran a Reverse Image Search on the keyframes from the video and found the snapshot of the video in a report by The Times of India dated April 3, 2021. The headline of the report read, “Gujarat: Fever patients treated on Morbi ceramic factory’s floor”.
As per the report, the labourers were being treated in the Capson Tiles Factory in Gujarat since hospitals were full because hospitals were full and doctors advised not to admit non-Covid patients.
We found another video by Zee 24 Kalak dated April 3, 2021, on YouTube with the visuals form the viral video. The title of the video in Gujarati read, “Morbi News | Hospital માં જગ્યા ના હોવાથી દર્દીઓની પતરાના શેડ નીચે સારવાર | Morbi Corona News Today”. (Translation- Due to lack of space in the hospital, patients are treated under a leaf shed)
