A video is being shared on social media with a claim that it shows Holi celebrations at the Atal Tunnel in Rohtang, Himachal Pradesh.
“HAPPY HAPPY HOLI ATAL TUNNEL, ROHTANG, HIMACHAL PRADESH,” the Facebook post read.

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found the claim to be false.
While looking for similar posts, we found that the same video was shared on Facebook in 2018. “Beautiful daytime colorful fireworks display in Khobar! At Ithra center. Amazing, I love it!” the post read.
We then ran a keyword search and found that the video of the same event, taken from a different angle, was shared on YouTube in 2018. “Ithra Aramco building program Celebration. 19/10/2018 .. dammam saudi arabia today,” the title of the video read.
The search also led us to a YouTube video uploaded by the official channel of Ithra. The video titled ‘Tanween 2018 Memorable Moments’ showcased aerial shots of the same event.
We found that the clips of the same video were also shared by Prince Abdullah bin Khalid al Saud of Riyadh on Twitter in October 2018.

Upon further investigation, we found that the structure in the video is King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture – Ithra, situated in Saudi Arabia’s Dhahran. It was built by Saudi Arabian oil company, Aramco and inaugurated by King Salman bin Abdulaziz on December 1, 2016.
When we looked at the pictures of the building available on Google Maps, we found that the structure in the video and the pictures are the same.
Moreover, when we looked for reports of such a celebration at Atal tunnel, we did not find anything substantial.
Hence, from the above information, it is clear that the claim is false.
