This is not the lone incident of a flyover that collapsed in the state. Earlier last year, a concrete slab of an elevated corridor in Gurugram’s Sohna Road had collapsed and two labourers were injured in the incident. The flyover was a part of a 5 km stretch being built to provide connectivity between Subhash Chowk on Sohna Road and Badshahpur.
Construction of the flyover had begun in 2018. It was considered the second most expensive project for the district after the Dwarka Expressway.
