Ahead of the upcoming assembly election in West Bengal, a few pictures are being shared on social media with a claim that BJP party workers created ruckus at a coffee house in West Bengal recently.

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found out that the pictures are old.
We ran the pictures through Reverse Image Search and found that the same pictures were uploaded on Facebook in March 2019 too.
Upon searching further, we found that the same pictures were shared by a Twitter user back in 2016.
After another Reverse Image search along with some keywords, we found some of the pictures in an article by Firstpost dated March 03, 2016.
The caption of the picture credited to PRI read,” BJP workers clash with each other at a party workers’ convention for actress and BJP candidate from Howrah North Assembly constituency Rupa Ganguly in Howrah.”
This was also reported by TOI in 2016.
Hence, from the above information, it is clear that the pictures in circulation are old.
