A teenage girl who had stepped out to relieve herself during the night was allegedly raped by a man in the Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh.
The incident took place at midnight on Saturday in a village located around 50 km from Aligarh.
When the girl stepped out to relieve herself, the accused abducted her, took her to his car, and raped her. The accused allegedly blackmailed the girl at knifepoint and asked her to stay mum about the incident.

After hearing the girl’s cries for help, her uncle rushed to help her but the accused allegedly stabbed him and ran away from the spot. The victim’s uncle received minor injuries.
The girl’s father lodged a police complaint after the incident and named a village youth as the accused.
As per reports, the accused has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
