FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the post and found that the claim attached to the video is fake.

We ran a Reverse Image Search of keyframes from the video and found a post on Twitter stating that the video shows a film shoot which happened in Goa’s Mapusa area.

In one of the posts on Twitter, a user had also uploaded a video taken from a different angle in the comment section.

In the video, the person who was shot during the shooting can be seen getting up and walking. A camera-crew with tripods and film equipment can also be seen.

Tripod seen in the video

On comparing both the videos, it becomes clear that no murder has taken place in the video.

We also found a video on YouTube taken from a different angle which shows that the actor who was shot gets up and starts walking. The title of the video read, “Mapusa shooting at new movie.”

We also looked for media reports to check if any murder took place in the Dongri area but did not find anything remotely close to the claim.

NewsMobile independently could not verify the exact location of the shoot but based on the above information, we can say that the video does not show a murder but a sequence from a film shooting.
