The Girl on the Train Review: Parineeti Chopra Starrer Promises An Engaging Murder Mystery

Date:

Parineeti Chopra has become the talk of the town for her stellar performance in the recently released Bollywood film ‘The Girl On The Train’.

‘The Girl On The Train’ is the Hindi adaptation of the thriller-themed International bestseller book under the same name. The book was made into a Hollywood film starring Emily Blunt in the lead in 2016.

The Bollywood version is written and directed by Ribhu Dasgupta and produced by Reliance Entertainment, and stars Parineeti Chopra along with Aditi, Kirti Kulhari, Avinash Tiwary, and Tota Roy Chowdhury in key roles. Aditi plays a woman who gets murdered under mysterious circumstances, thereby triggering the suspense in the script.

Parineeti Chopra plays the eponymous girl (Mira) taking the train, an alcoholic divorcee, who becomes involved in a missing person investigation and uncovers deeper secrets.

The first half of the movie drags rather slowly with Mira losing her calm, hollering abuses, screaming and crying. But Parineeti’s grasp of the character Mira comes out as Mira’s mannerism becomes prominent by the end of the movie as the mystery unfolds and all characters show their true faces.

It will amaze you how by the end it will all be clear and it will leave you in awe as the final murderer comes to the light…

Meanwhile, this is how Tweetrati is reacting to Parineeti Chopra’s new release:
