A video of a man has gone viral on social media in which he can be seen spitting on every roti, before putting them in tandoor. The video claims that it is from Red Rose Nampally in Hydebarad.

FACT CHECK
NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found that the claim is false.
Firstly, running a simple Google search using keywords like-‘Red Rose Nampally’ led us to search results that said ”Red Rose Palace Function Hall in Nampally, Hyderabad is one of the leading businesses in the Banquet Halls.”
Further, we ran a Reverse Image Search on the keyframes from the video and found the video on the YouTube handle of IndiaTV News. ‘In Meerut, Man Spits On Roti While Cooking It, Accused Arrested’, read the caption of the video.
We found several news reports that confirmed that the viral video is from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
According to a Hindustan Times report, which carried a screenshot from the same video, the incident took place at Aroma Gardens in Meerut and the man in the video has been identified as Sohail.
The man was later caught by Meerut Police according to a post shared on the department’s Twitter handle:
