When we did a Google search using some relevant keywords we found a blog post published on July 12, 2012. The headline of the blog read, “Don’t be serious, be sincere” ~ Extract from a Speech by author Chetan Bhagat at Symbiosis.”
With this information, we did another Google search which led us to Chetan Bhagat’s official website. We found that the excerpts have been taken from his speech given at the orientation program for the new batch of MBA students at Symbiosis, Pune, on 24 July 2008.

In conclusion, it is evident that excerpts from Chetan Bhagat’s speech are attributed to Ratan Tata.
