The screengrab read, “स्कूल कॉलेज फिर से बंद हो गए | अभी 10 मिनट पहले लिया बड़ा फैसला |”
Another similar screengrab is also being shared widely, claiming that Home Ministry has ordered shutting down of schools and colleges.
The Facebook screengrab read, “अभी अभी ग्रह मंत्रालय का चौंकाने वाला फैसला | तुरंत स्कूल कॉलेज बंद करने का आदेश |”

NewsMobile fact-checked the above post and found it to be morphed.
Firstly, we checked the official website of the Ministry Of Home Affairs but could not find any information regarding closure of schools and colleges.
Further, we noticed that the font in the viral screengrabs of Aaj Tak is different.
On comparing the Fake vs Real images, we can clearly see the viral screengrab is morphed.
Moreover, we found a tweet by PIB dated January 18, 2021, claiming that the viral screengrab is morphed and the Home Ministry has not issued any such order related to closure of school and colleges.

On digging further, we also found a news article by The Times Of India dated January 18, 2021, providing information about the opening of schools state wise.
Hence, with the help of the above information, it is clear that the viral AajTak screenshot is morphed.
