3 people were killed and 3 injured on at a Rockford, Illinois bowling alley on Saturday in the United States. Rockford city police took in one 37 year old male suspect into custody and went onto Twitter to ask people stay away from the area near the Don Carter Lanes bowling alley. Around 6:55pm police received calls several people from Don Carter Lanes bowling alleys. Shooting was still on when police reached the building.
Please continue to stay away from Don Carter’s area on East State Street. It’s still an active situation and officers are continuing to clear the area.

“It’s still an ongoing investigation. We do have three individuals that are confirmed deceased.” Said police chief Dan O’Shea who said that the 3 injured were taken to a local hospital. The police believe it was a random attack but did not specify what could be the motive behind the attack.
Two teenagers were amongst the victims, though police did not clarify whether they were amongst the 3 victims killed. The latest tweet by the Rockford police confirms that the there are no others being sought after from the 37 year old male suspect in custody.
