A video of business tycoon Mukesh Ambani throwing a lavish party has gone viral on social media. It is being claimed that he is seen celebrating the birth of his grandson.
The Facebook post read, “Celebrations at Mukeshbhai Ambani’s abode to welcome his grandson… So, now it’s patently clear that Covid doesn’t attack the rich & the famous!!”

With the help of InVID tool, we got the keyframes of the video. On putting the keyframes through Google Reverse Image Search, we found that the video is of Ambani’s family celebrating Ganesh Utsav in 2019. The video was posted by Snap Bollywood on YouTube on September 3, 2019.
Moreover, we also found a similar video on YouTube by Bollywood Headlines dated September 3, 2019, claiming that Ambani family celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi.
On comparing the viral video and 2019 video, we can clearly see that the video is old.
However, we found a news article by India.com dated December 10, 2020, where we can see Mukesh Ambani sharing a picture with his grandson.
Hence, with the help of the above information, it is clear that an old video of Ambani family celebrating Ganesh Utsav is being shared as recent one with false claims. Don’t fall for misleading claims.
