Burger King is winning hearts of the people across the globe by showing kindness in these trying times. While the global economy is battered by the coronapocalypse, Burger King UK has come out in support of the local eateries.
In an attempt to support local restaurants amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, Burger King UK has made their Instagram account available to local restaurants which have been closed from a long time during the lockdown.
In an instagram post they have announced that they have opened up their feed for the local eateries to advertise them for free.

In their statement, Burger King UK said, “There’s Roti King, Sultan’s Palace, Tayyab’s, Eco, Dumplings Legend, Ochi’s. In short, there are many great dishes from thousands of restaurants that deserve to be as famous as the Whopper. As we head into tier three across more parts of the country, it’s clear independent restaurants need all our support. So we’ve decided to give you a break from our burger pics and make our Instagram available to all these restaurants. Until they can reopen, they can advertise on our Instagram for free.”
Whopper is the key tag of the Burger King Franchise that refers to the global fast-food chain’s burgers. Moreover, Burger King UK also mentioned the details required for local restaurants to share pictures on the Instagram account.
Earlier in November, They have made headlines as well after their tweet in support of other sister restaurants such as KFC, Subway, Domino’s Pizza and Pizza Hut went viral on social media.

The earlier tweet read, “Order from McDonald’s. We never thought we’d be asking you to do this. Just like we never thought we’d be encouraging you to order from KFC, Subway, Domino’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, Five Guys, Greggs, Taco Bell, Papa John’s, Leon… or any of the other independent food outlets, too numerous to mention here. In short, from any of our sister food chains (fast or not so fast).”
Netizens are in awe of Burger King’s generous efforts and are applauding them on social media.
