She is 17 and she is bold and asked US President Donald Trump to ‘chill’. We are talking about Swedish environmental activist Greta Thunberg who settled scores with Trump on twitter who alleges counting frauds. Trump had hit out at Thunberg asking her to work on her anger management and “chill” after she was named person of the year by Time Magazine in 2019 and criticised the magazine for choosing the Swedish activist. Eleven months later, Thunberg recycled Trump’s words and put on an exact same tweet, this time with the US President’s name in it, while retweeting his post which reads, “Stop the Count.”
“So ridiculous. Donald must work on his Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Donald, Chill!” Like Trump, Greta too kept ‘A’ and ‘M’ of ‘Anger Management’ in capital.” Said Greta Thunberg in her tweet.

Why are we talking about this? Because the Swedish activist’s tweet has surpassed the likes on Trump’s 2019 tweet mocking Thunberg. Netizens have come out in huge support of the activist as Trump lags behind in votes against opponent Joe Biden.
As Biden edges towards victory, a confident Trump put out a statement on Friday saying, “I easily win presidency of United States with legal votes cast. Observers were not allowed, in any way, shape, or form, to do their job & therefore, votes accepted during this period must be determined to be illegal votes. U.S. Supreme Court should decide.”

Meanwhile social media platform Facebook on Thursday took a strong step by banning pro-Trump supporter Facebook groups that call for threats of violence. ‘Stop the Steal’ which had more than 350,000 members in a single day with 1000 new members added every 10 seconds.
A Facebook spokesperson in a statement said these steps were taken in wake of heightened measures centred around heightened tension. “The group was organised around the delegitimisation of the election process, and we saw worrying calls for violence from some members of the group.” Read the Facebook statement.
Looks like the members of the group were prepared for Facebook to ban the group and directed new members to an email sign up page in an event that the group is censored. Facebook has stepped up guard in various countries across the globe during election, to stop partisan views from going out of hand and propagating threats which could create a domino effect offline as seen in past incidents.
