Bihar CM Nitish Kumar once again had to face the brunt of the people. Onions were thrown at him during a public meeting in Madhubani district, Bihar.
CM Nitish Kumar was addressing a rally in Harlakhi when the attack took place.
As Kumar began speaking on unemployment, an unidentified person in the crowd started throwing onions towards the stage. Despite several warnings by the security personnel, the person kept on screaming that illicit liquor is being sold in the state. The attacker alleged that the Nitish Kumar government has failed to stop the illegal trade of alcohol in Bihar. “Keep throwing, keep throwing,” says miffed Nitish.
Kumar was targeting opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav and accusing Lalu and Rabri Devi of ruining Bihar.

Tejashwi Yadav also grabbed the opportunity and slammed the Chief Minister. He said that “Nitish Ji is not able to handle Bihar. There’re only 77 policemen per lakh population in Bihar and job vacancies have not been filled. We are asking the public to give us a chance, so we can do what CM couldn’t achieve in 15 years. His farewell is guaranteed.”
A few weeks ago, Nitish Kumar lost his temper and lashed out when he was heckled at a rally in Chhapra. Hearing slogans of “Lalu Yadav zindabad.”
